Dusk II
Blaze Cyan holds an MA in Fine Art and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers and an elected member of the Society of Wood Engravers. Her work explores the beauty, structure and enduring presence of trees within both landscape and human history.
Through drawing, etching, painting and wood engraving she returns repeatedly to their complex forms and quiet power, with the sense that their richness can never be exhausted. Rooted in an interest in landscape ecology, the work reflects a close attention to the natural world.
