Katy Harrald is a traditional pencil artist and illustrator based in Dorset specialising in highly detailed wildlife and botanical artworks. She was raised in the New Forest along the South Coast. As such, her work has evolved naturally to become a celebration of nature and coastal treasures. Katy discovered her love for pencil and graphite whilst studying for a degree in Illustration. Adoring their simplicity, and ability to produce complex detail and atmosphere. Since graduating in 2014, Katy has exhibited work both in the UK and abroad. Producing work for solo shows, group exhibitions, charitable organisations, international magazines, books and private collections.
Katy's work is included in our exhibition 'Arbor: A Month of Trees'.
Entry is free, tickets are not required. The event will take place from 11 am - 3 pm in the gallery
