Join Us for a Live Pottery Demonstration with Ceramic Artist David Pointer

We’re delighted to welcome David for a special live demonstration of his ceramic techniques, presented alongside a display of his newest works featured in our Winter Show.

During the event, David will walk visitors through the key stages of his process for hand-building spherical sculptures in preparation for barrel-firing. You’ll be able to watch him demonstrate coiling, the use of formers, burnishing, and the application of terra sigillata—offering a rare opportunity to see the artistry and precision behind his sculptural ceramics.

The demonstration will take place next to the gallery in the free-to-enter Makers Yard.
